Music and Photography
I'm a musician and a photographer. I learned photography as a teen. Over the years, I have learned Ansel Adams' Zone System, worked in both black & white and color darkrooms, studied wedding photography with Gordon Dinsmore, and attended workshops with John Sexton and Robert Glenn Ketchum - all while pursuing a university-level music education.
During a long career as a music teacher and orchestral performer, I also worked as a photographer whenever time permitted. My photographs have been in magazines, on calendars, on book covers, and in international publications.
I photograph buildings. I find architectural photography fascinating. I particularly love photographing churches. I also photograph landscapes and wildlife because they point us to the Creator. I hope you enjoy my work!
